INDIVIDUAL DRIVER RISK ASSESSMENT (For car/car-derived vans)

Drive & Survive's Individual Driver Risk Assessment (IDRA) is quite unlike the other risk assessment products in the market place, which tend to be little more than enhanced hazard perception tests, similar to that being introduced for the basic driving test.

IDRA, which is an in-house designed product, is not only interactive, informative and user friendly but is able to assess the degree to which a driver has concern about specific risk situations. This data, allied to information about the environment in which the candidate usually drives, enables the programme to identify far more clearly the driver's likely behaviour in a risk situation and therefore his or her likelihood of becoming involved in a collision.

It only takes about 25 minutes to complete and is available in a number of formats - web-based, e-mail and hard copy. In whatever form the assessments are submitted, Drive & Survive provides a back office collation service at a nominal additional cost, which produces a detailed report on the outcome of the assessment. This can form the blueprint for a comprehensive driver risk management programme, comprising several different interventions to suit the needs of the business and the individual driver.
